Sweetheart VoxBox Review

Hey everybody.  So a while back I got a box from Influenster and I hope you guys got a chance to check it out.  It's an awesome program, and you can find it HERE.

Anyway, today I finally got a chance to do a review on all of the products that I received.

I must say I was impressed with February VoxBox, and I used (and still use) all of the products that was in it.

Ok, let's get to the review:

The first thing that I tried was this granola bar.

It was really good, and the fact that it's called "SkinnyGirl" is probably the best part of it :)

The flavor was super tasty, and I ate it right up.  There is not much more to say - it's good and it's healthy.

I haven't seen those in the store, but I'm sure I will get some more if I see it.

The next thing I tried was this

I'm sure many of you have tried it, or at least heard of it.  It's becoming very popular, and the main reason is that it really works.  Or so I've heard.  

I have to say that my hair is naturally wavy, so I couldn't truly tell how good this spray really is, but it definitely made my waves more define.

I know that some VoxBoxes had this spray, and some the hairspray (same brand).  I wish I got the hairspray though, just because of my naturally wavy hair. 

Would I use it again and finish the bottle? - probably.

Would I go and buy it? - probably not.

The third thing I am particularly excited to talk about is Olay cleansing system.

The cleansing brush is small and so cute, I couldn't help but smile.  It's powered by batteries and I used it in the shower, and it works great, although they say not to emerge it in the water (but why would you, right?)

The little tube is the cleanser that you have to put on the brush.  It worked pretty good, it reduced the shine on my face (just like it said it would), and even cleaned my pores a little.  It also removed all of the dead skin, and made my face smooth.

I don't use it everyday, I use it every other day, but it can be used every day, if you want to.  The brush is so gentle and soft, it doesn't make your face red afterwards, like some cleansing system do.  So if you have an important date/event, you can safely use it before, and your face will be fine (and clean).

Ok, and the last thing that I used was Deodorant by Secret.

I didn't take picture of my deodorant, but that's how it looks like:

I was very excited to get this because that's what I am currently using, and works wonders.

It lasts literally all day long and some of the next day.  and it smells nice.

  I am not lying, this is the best deodorants out there for sweat/smell.

So, I am pretty excited that I don't have to buy a deodorant for a long time :)

Influenster Sweetheart VoxBox

Shades of Grey and Pop of Pink

I've been sick for 3 days now, and wasn't able to dress up and take pictures.  I, literally, stayed in my sweatpants, and a robe the whole entire time.

But I'm lucky I had an outfit ready for you guys (from last week) that I didn't have a chance to post.  Well, now is the perfect time, because, seriously, I can't even get up and do something.  Hooray for laptops, because I can write laying down!

Anyway, I was inspired to do this outfit by Pinterest (of course!), and I love it so much, because:

1.  It's super cute.

2.  I LOVE grey.

3.  The pop of pink makes it look refreshing.

My pink scarf is not as bright as on the picture, but it's pink, and it still looks good :)

ClothingLoves Bracelet is Here!

I can't even tell you how excited I was when I got this bracelet in the mail today!  I've been waiting for it impatiently, mainly because... well, it's a cool bracelet, but also it will add an edge to my outfits that I have in mind.

I did an introductory post on ClothingLoves a while ago (you can see it HERE), and I said that their stuff is pretty affordable.  Well, I wasn't kidding, this bracelet is $8.35.  You can find it HERE.

I am into gold now, and I have been for a few months now.  Before, I was a "silver" or "white metal" girl (I still am), but for some reason, I am wearing gold more and more.  I still wear white metal jewelry a lot, but I guess, I appreciate gold more now.

I'm really excited to wear it very soon with my next few outfits!  I know it will match so many different looks, and it will go with a lot of different colors, because brown/gold is pretty neutral.

Little Purple Dress

I am very excited for this post, because I finally wear something dressier than my usual casual outfits (even though I love them).

There was no special occasion to wear this dress to; I just felt like dressing up a bit for the hubby :)  I've had this sweater-dress forever, and never stopped loving it, especially now when purple color is back and popular again.

I know I take pictures inside now (and I hate it!), but it's been so cold out (single digits), that I just didn't dare to go out.  I can't wait for this weather to get warmer, so I can finally go outside  and change the background a bit.  

So bare with me, hopefully spring comes here soon.

Elf Beauty Products Review

I don't have a lot of Elf beauty products, but I have some, that I bought quite a while ago, but still wanted to share them with you.

As probably many of you know, Elf is a very cheap brand, but I find it to be pretty good quality overall.  And I know many beauty stylists use it, and they say nice things about this brand.

So, here are my 6 Elf Beauties that I am currently using.

1//2//3//4//5//6

1.  Mineral Eye Liner (Black) - I use it pretty much everyday if I want a little darker line.  I have a NYC one, that is dark too, but Elf is a little darker.  I like to apply it on top of eyeshadow to create more dramatic look, or by itself, if I want cat eyes.

2.  Eyelid Primer - Now, this is my favorite product if I need my eyeshadow to last a the whole day and/or night.  You just need to use a little bit on your upper eyelid, and a tiny bit on the bottom one where you contour it with eyeshadow.  It does help eyeshadow last longer without those icky lines in your creases.  Definitely recommend it.

3.  Clarifying Pressed Powder - This is nice to carry in your makeup bag, because it's small and really helps when you need a little touch up if you face gets oily throughout the day.  It's pretty lightweight, so you don't see it on your face, especially on photos, which is a good thing.

4.  Professional Eyeshadow Brush - I use it to apply the base color on my eyelid.  This is the first brush that I tried and I like it a lot, definitely helps eyeshadow last longer and look nicer.  If you are looking for a really good and not expensive eyeshadow brush - look no further - it's great!

5.  Professional Eye Crease Brush - This is another brush that I can't live without, especially when I do my smokey eyes.  This is a must have if you are like me, and do smokey eyes a lot, or just create any other look using eyeshadow.

6.  Professional Total Face Brush - This is another must have.  I use it mostly to apply powder on my face, but it can be used to put on some foundation, or even a blush, although I use a special blush brush (funny combination of words!)  But I know other girls use it for anything.

Casual Weekend Outfit

I love weekends, because to me they mean spending time with family.  I love wearing comfy and cozy clothes on weekends, so that I can do various activities without changing (unless, of course, I am planning a night out).

As I was putting my outfit together, I was deciding what shoes to wear, and I couldn't believe that I forgot that I had these boots laying in a box!  Did this ever happen to you?

Anyway, they are so comfy, and I love them.

I also love my bought-long-time-ago-and-never-worn necklace, that I just wanted to wear, because it reminds me that the spring is near...

Underneath the vest I wore a basic white top, that I believe is essential in every girl's closet.  They are so versatile, and can be worn pretty much with any color.
