NYC Beauty Products Review

January 27, 2013

Recently I went to Target and wanted to try out more beauty products from NYC.  I've heard good things about this brand, and even though I use some of their products already, they weren't enough to make up my decision - whether I like this brand or not.

Before I got more stuff, I had this nail polish.
The color is "Water Street Blue", #296.
I bought it last summer and used it only once.  It's such a bright color, that I decided not to use it during winter, because I thought it would look too cold in already cold weather.  Anyway, it dries pretty quickly, however it didn't stay too  long on my nails.

When I bought another color and applied on my nails, and then the next day I had chipped nail polish, I remembered the same thing happened with blue one.
So the bottom line - the colors are pretty, but it doesn't stay on your nail for more than 2 days.  It does stay longer on your toe nails though.
The color is "Manhattan", # 248

The next thing that I needed for a long time was "Smokey Eyes" eye shadow.  And I've seen some, but they were a little too expensive for me.  So, when I found this palette, I had to have it.
It's "Lexington Luxury", # 819A.
I also like it because it tells you direction on which one of the palettes to apply first and which one is for highlight, contour, and crease.  It does come with a little applicator, but I like to use my brushes.

The other thing that I got and probably loved the most was the Eyeliner Pencil.  It's "Jet Black", #921.  It's pretty dark, which exactly what I wanted.  So I am very happy with this find.

And last but not least I finally got a Lip Stain after hearing it from everywhere.  I like it.  I picked "Champagne Stain", #493, and I used it in one of my outfits (HERE).  I liked the way it felt on my lips, although it's not moisturizing lipstick, it didn't dry out my lips.  It stayed on for a long time, even after I ate dinner and drank coffee.  After that it disappeared, of course, but I was pretty impressed with the results.  Totally recommend.

And this lipgloss that I didn't get recently, but a long time ago, and just wanted to share it with you.  It's "Cherry Ever After", #453.  I've been using it for a while, and it's almost gone.  I like the color and just overall quality.  So I would recommend it as well.

Thanks so much for reading!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
